Instructional Charts are used by navigation students to practice traditional chart work. They are used by nautical colleges to test navigation students in navigation practice.

Instructional charts are full size charts, printed on a lower quality paper to make them a cost effective aid to practicing navigation techniques.

They are not updated by Notices to Mariners
