Todd Chart Agency Company Profile

Established in 1990, Todd Chart Agency Limited is a family owned company which has grown to become the largest retailer of nautical charts and books in Ireland, and one of the largest in the United Kingdom. Managing Director, William Todd, states that the aim of the company is to supply a fast, cost effective and quality chart service both to Merchant Shipping and to the leisure market.

Our company has staff who are experienced in various marine backgrounds. William Todd, MNI, B.Sc. (Geography), holds a Foreign Going Master Mariners Certificate of Competency and has been a Marine Pilot. Another member of staff has experience in the Royal Navy, and Terry is a retired Harbour Master.

We are an International Admiralty Chart Agent, appointed by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO). As such, we hold a world-wide stock of fully corrected British Admiralty standard charts and an extensive selection of nautical books and publications.

We are the United Kingdom agent for the Icelandic Hydrographic Service, and stock at least one copy of each chart published by them.

For the yachtsman we also hold a large range of Imray paper charts and Admiralty Leisure charts, together with books by Adlard Coles Nautical, Fernhurst, Seafarer Books, almanacs, log books, etc

For merchant shipping we stock books by IMO, ITU, International Chamber of Shipping, Brown, Son & Ferguson, OCIMF, etc.

Electronic chart sales are increasing steadily year on year, as yachtsmen compliment their paper charts with electronic charts, either raster or vector. We are an Admiralty ARCS Skipper and Navigator distributor, as well as being a programming centre for C-MAP NT+, C-MAP MAX, and Garmin Bluechart vector charts. We stock a supply of Navionics Gold and Platinum charts.  We are retailers of software for electronic charts by Euronav, PC Maritime, Seatrack, and MaxSea.
